Pots of Art treat

Today me and my sister went to Pots of Art, I chose a plate to paint (so did my sister) I based my design on a Merimeko design called Unikko... which looks modern, but in fact it was Maija Isola's classic pattern designed in 1964. I was really pleased with my plate and thought it looked lovely!

Here it is finished...ready for Pots of Art to fire in their Kiln.



...and here I am with my finished glazed plate, against my bedroom wall :)

    Velvet - I love your plate!! How very lovely it is (and, so are YOU!!). I also love Merimeko and that pattern on your wall - did you pick it out?
